Notes: Files layout: Semilattice
I have a starting “index” note that links (transitively) to most notes in my Zettelkasten; almost every note can be reached following links from the index.
The following is the distribution of the distances from the index across all notes (i.e., the shortest path following links starting at the index and ending at the note):
I put “-1” unreachable notes. One note has distance 0: the index itself.
By ordering notes based on their distance from the index and ignoring “upward” or “sideways” links, I can represent (a subset of the edges in) the graph as a semilattice:
