Seed stitch
🧶 Overview
Seed stitch is a symmetric texture, similar to Moss stitch but simpler.
I use this texture often for Neckties.
It looks like this:
- K P
- P K
It is similar to a 1×1 Rib with the even row shifted.
📜 Instructions
↔︎️ Flat
- If the row length is an odd number of stitches: K P
- If the row length is an even number of stitches:
- Even rows: K P
- Odd rows: P K
🔄 In the round
Row length should be an even number of stitches, or you’ll have a column of little bumps where the rows meet.
