🧶 Overview

A Barú Headband.

💡 Observations

I’m fairly satisfied with the results, but there’s two things to improve:

• It was a bit loose (messed up the computations).

• The Kitchener stitch is visible.

Loose

The headband is a bit loose, though it still works. I made a mistake: I computed the circumference assuming that my head’s circumference 63 cm (rather then 59 cm). That means I was off by 7%. The original target of 34% negative ease would have worked better than the effective ease of 26% (59 / 47).

Kitchener stitch

The Kitchener stitch isn’t perfect: one can notice that the row is different. I should get better at it.
