📚: The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read, Philippa Perry

Interesting read about parenting. I found it somewhat repetitive, but a lot of what it says resonates with me.
Give your children attention, genuinely. Forster a secure attachment style. We all make mistakes; focus on repairing them when they happen. Treat your children with respect, validate their feelings, take them seriously. Talk openly about your feelings with them (e.g., when you set boundaries, explain them based on your own needs). Who we are as parents is a reflection of how our own parents treated us.
